Persian Style Luxury

The best thing to cheer me up in these ice cold winter
days is to look for beautiful and inspiring costume ideas ;-) And to to dream of a life as a Moghul princess with loads of new colourful dresses to choose from every day ;-)
I have seen a lot but these apparels are drop-dead gorgeous ;-) They make a queen of every woman!

Green shimmer tissue flared lehenga is heavily embellished with sequins, stones, beads, zardosi, pita and resham. Choli in green shimmer tissue with sequin, stones, beads, zardosi and zari work on it. With contrast red dupatta with sequins, stones, beads, zardosi and zari.
USD $ 2,298.00

Cream Wedding Lehenga Choli
Very classical Mughal style, with two dupattas, either maroon which makes it a traditional wedding dress, or cream, suitable for many occasions...

Imagine to dance with this apparel... better than Madhuri Dixit in Devdas ;-)
USD $ 443.00

Two other examples of rather unusual colours. On the left a stunning combination of rust and teal for a royal lehenga with fancy details, look at the asymmetric neck line.. I love this... Gorgeous also the Lehenga Choli on the right in warm earth tones glamourously embellished with
with sequins, stones, beads, zardosi and pita work.

  1. Oooooooooooohhhhh, I would give anything to own one of these outfits. I am not sure I could ever wear it though. I would never make it past examining the details on the fabric to actually put it on.

Sigh, I hate that I have grown up with nothing fancier than jeans and t-shirts. Darn my puritan based culture for removing awesome clothing from everyday life.

Thanks for posting the photos they are lovely!

  2. OOh, beautiful post. I enjoyed my visit to your space.

  3. The green lehnga and red dupatta are just gorgeous! A piece of jewel !
